IN THE PINK Harvest 2015

                  Number 314

Harvest Thanksgiving
Today in our services we give thanks for the good things of the earth, and pray for all those involved in the production of food. We also pray for all those whose lives are more difficult than ours. This year we are using some of the material produced by the missionary agency US (formerly USPG) which highlights their work with the Delhi Brotherhood Society which we have usually supported. We are collecting for the North Paddington Food Bank for the next 3 weeks, so it doesn’t matter if you forgot to bring your harvest goods today. Please give generously. There is a list at the back of the church. No perishable fruit or veg please.

Dedication Festival
Next Sunday (4th October) we celebrate the anniversary of the dedication of St Peter’s Church with a combined Family Eucharist at 11 am, followed by a buffet. Please bring food (main courses St Peters). Note there is no Mass at St Mary Mags next Sunday (4th October).

Macmillan coffee morning
Helen would have been so proud that you have raised almost £500 for Macmillan Cancer Care at the coffee morning. Thank you all for that brilliant effort.

Emmanuel is offering shelter on Thursdays every three weeks beginning on 8th October 2015 until 28th January 2016. If you would like to help this would be for an evening, night or morning shift.
