Memorial Concert
The All Sing! Harrow Road Community Choir are holding their summer concert at St.Mary Mags as a memorial to Helen Everett. It will be at 3pm on Saturday 2nd July. The concert will last about an hour, and is free (there will be a collection for the Choir and SMM). There will be tea afterwards. Do come along and enjoy your local choir.

Art Show
“The Magic of Light” curated by Rickshaw House Gallery, in the Crypt at St.Mary Mags. Daily 12.30-7pm until 3rd July.

PCC Meetings
St.Mary Magdalene’s PCC meets at 11am on Sunday 3rd July in the Vestry. St.Peter’s PCC meets at 7pm on Wednesday 6th July in the Meeting Room.

St Peter’s School Fair
The School Fair is on Saturday 9th July. The church will be running a stall, so please speak to Lorraine if you can help with that.

Canal Concert
The Music Society’s annual concert on canal boats is on Monday 11th July, leaving from Brownng’s Pool at 7.30pm. Tickets £20 from Nicholas Kaye, 68 Cadogan Square SW1X 0EA.

Westbourne Festival
The Westbourne Festival will be held on the Canalside on Saturday 16th July from 1 to 5pm. Fun for all the family.

Confirmation
Confirmation is the rite signifying adult commitment to the Church, and the normal way by which adults are admitted to Communion. We are starting to plan Confirmation preparation, so if you are a worshipper, but don’t receive Communion, do talk to Fr.Henry or Fr.Reji about being prepared for Confirmation.

St.Mary Magdalene’s Day
We shall be keeping the Patronal Festival at St.Mary Mags on Sunday 24th July, so no service at St.Peter’s that Sunday.

Book Club
For the July meeting of the Book Club, at 7.30pm on Wednesday 20th July, the book to read is “Instructions for a Heatwave” by Maggie O’Farrell. We meet in the Meeting Room, in St.Peter’s House. There will be a poster for you to sign up if you are coming.

Food Bank
The North Paddington Food Bank is in urgent need of more food. Especially needed are tinned meat and fish. They have enough pasta. Please bring stuff and put it into the bins in church.

Delhi Brotherhood Society
We support the Delhi Brotherhood Society, which works with some of the poorest people in India’s slums, with our charitable giving. Fr.Monodeep Daniel, the Superior of the Delhi Brotherhood Society, will be visiting us today.

Quiz Night
At St.Peter’s, Friday 17th June. We are hosting St.Anne’s, Soho, in a return match. 7pm. Tickets £5, including a curry supper. Bring your own drink. Get your tickets now from Fr.Henry.

ST PETER’S DAY
We keep St Peter’s Patronal Festival on Sunday 26th June at 11 am, with comined Eucharist followed by lunch. There is no mass at SMM that day.

First Communion
It is our policy to prepare young people for First Communion, and to make Confirmation the sacrament of adult commitment; so First Communion happens at age 7+ and Confirmation after age 16. We shall start First Communion preparation at St.Peter’s on 19th June, so if there are any 7 year olds (or older)  whose parents support them in wanting to receive Communion they should talk to Fr.Henry or Fr.Reji at once.
