We always have a special service. This year we are remembering the journey of the Magi by starting from St Mary Mags at 10:30 and walking to St Peter’s, where we will arrive at 11. Do come and walk with us.

We need your help with the following (please bring to the Office ASAP); Fancy items to make up our famous Christmas hampers, plus other bigger raffle prizes (including bubbly…)
Plus: Tombola prizes – Good Quality books – Bric – a- Brac – Toys – smaller Toys (MacDonalds Style “bits and bobs” for our toy tombola). Cakes (larger single cakes and individual cup cakes) mince pies etc. The more the merrier! Please bring on the day.

Setting Up and Clearing Away the Christmas Fair
Please can you help us by coming along to help set up the Christmas fair on Friday evening at 6pm, or by helping us to clear it all away at 3 pm on Saturday.

Lunch Club Christmas Dinner
The Lunch Club will have its Christmas celebration on Saturday 16th December. Jacqui would welcome any donations, financial or otherwise. If you can help on the day Jacqui would love to hear from you.

Westbourne Big International Meal
Saturday 2nd December 2-5 pm at the Stowe Centre. Bring and share food from your native culture. Lots of family activities. Organised by the Westbourne Forum, who are conducting a community consultation at the event.

During Advent
Could you give a home to the Posada (St Peter’s portable crib scene)? We need households for the Posada to lodge in for a week. See Fr Henry.

PCC Meetings
St Peter’s PCC meets on Wednesday 15th November at 7pm in the Meeting Room, St Peter’s House. St Mary Magdalene’s PCC meets at 7pm on Thursday 16th November at the Vicarage.

Remembrance Sunday
The Paddington civic Act of Remembrance will be at 2:30 pm today at the War Memorial in Lancaster Gate. There will be a reception at the Royal Lancaster Hotel afterwards.

IN THE PINK All Saints’ Tide 2017

Mary Mags Project Open Day
We shall be holding an Open day for the Project on Saturday 11th November from 2-4pm. There will be a tile-making workshop in the school hall, and there will be an opportunity to visit the lower levels of the nave scaffolding.

IN THE PINK Last after Trinity 2017

           Issue 413
All Souls’ Day
The orchestral mass for All Souls’ Day will be held this year at Holy Trinity, Prince Consort Road, SW7 (behind the Albert Hall, near Imperial College). As usual it will be at 7:30pm on 2nd November. Everything will be as it would normally be at St Mary Mags, but translated to Holy Trinity. There are lists in church for names of departed friends or relatives who you want remembered at the altar.  Please be aware that there will be no parking nearby, or vehicular access to Prince Consort Road after 4pm, because of an event happening at the Royal Albert Hall. The 70 bus goes nearby.  

Mary Mags Project Open Day

Christmas Fair: Donations Wanted
The Christmas Fair at St Peter’s will be on Saturday 9th December. We need your donations especially for the “big ticket” items for individual raffle prizes, but also for high class food items to go into the hampers, which are our star prizes. We also need you to make cakes, and to clear out your unwanted toys. We especially need small toys for the toy tombola. We also want your good books, including children’s books, and items for the bric-a-brac stall. It will be possible to rent a stall, so see Julie Benet if you are interested.
