PCC Meetings
St Mary Magdalene’s PCC meets after Mass today in the Vestry.

March Book Club
The book to read is “The Lonely Londoners” by Sam Selvon, a pioneering novel about the experience of West Indians coming to London in the 1950s. We are meeting on Wednesday 8th March at 7:30 pm in the Meeting Room at St Peter’s. The usual posters are up in church so you can let us know whether you might be coming.

The Bishop’s Farewell
Arrangements have changed. The Bishop thinks people were being put off by the idea of tickets, so now there won’t be tickets for anyone (including the parishes’ named people). You just go along and take your chance with all the rest. The service will be at 6 o’clock on Thursday 2nd February, and the Cathedral doors will be open at 5, so get there early! There will be an overspill congregation in Paternoster Square (the office development next door) if you can’t get into St Pauls.

School Services
Do remember that you are always welcome to join school services in church. St Mary Magdalene’s will be having a service for Candlemass on Tuesday 31st at 2:45 pm.
