IN THE PINK Christ the King 2017

Christmas Fair Saturday 9th December 12 – 3 pm Raffle Prizes, Tombola Prizes, Books, Bric-a-Brac, Toys & cakes please.
We need your help with the following (please bring to the Office ASAP); Fancy items to make up our famous Christmas hampers, plus other bigger raffle prizes (including bubbly…)
Plus: Tombola prizes – Good Quality books – Bric – a- Brac – Toys – smaller Toys (MacDonalds Style “bits and bobs” for our toy tombola). Cakes (larger single cakes and individual cup cakes) mince pies etc. The more the merrier! Please bring on the day. 

Lunch Club Christmas Dinner
The Lunch Club will have its Christmas celebration on Saturday 16th December. Jacqui would welcome any donations, financial or otherwise. If you can help on the day Jacqui would love to hear from you.

Westbourne Big International Meal
Saturday 2nd December 2-5 pm at the Stowe Centre. Bring and share food from your native culture. Lots of family activities. Organised by the Westbourne Forum, who are conducting a community consultation at the event.

During Advent
Could you give a home to the Posada (St Peter’s portable crib scene)? We need households for the Posada to lodge in for a week. See Fr Henry.

Sunday 24th  Morning Services as usual 9:30 and 11:00 am Midnight Mass 11pm St Peter’s.
Monday 25th Christmas Eucharist 11am St Peter’s.  
Sunday 31st Morning Services as usual 9:30 and 11:00 am
Sunday 7th January, Combined Epiphany Service at St Peter’s with Procession from St Mary Mags at 10:30

IN THE PINK Remembrance 2017

PCC Meetings
St Peter’s PCC meets on Wednesday 15th November at 7pm in the Meeting Room, St Peter’s House. St Mary Magdalene’s PCC meets at 7pm on Thursday 16th November at the Vicarage.

Remembrance Sunday
The Paddington civic Act of Remembrance will be at 2:30 pm today at the War Memorial in Lancaster Gate. There will be a reception at the Royal Lancaster Hotel afterwards.

There is a free event at St Paul’s at 6:30pm on Tuesday 21st November. “Forgiveness: a Journey to Freedom? At which the speakers will be the Reverend Lucy Winkett and Marian Partington (whose sister was killed by Fred and Rose West).

IN THE PINK All Saints’ Tide 2017

Mary Mags Project Open Day
We shall be holding an Open day for the Project on Saturday 11th November from 2-4pm. There will be a tile-making workshop in the school hall, and there will be an opportunity to visit the lower levels of the nave scaffolding.

Remembrance Sunday
Next Sunday,12th November. Remember to arrive early at St Peter’s, as we start with the Act of Remembrance and silence at 11am.

November Book Club
The Book Club will meet at 7:30pm on Wednesday 8th November in the meeting room at St Peter’s.
The book to read is “Behind a Mask” by Louisa May Alcott.
