Also fill in a new form if you have changed address. We are revising the roll at St Peter’s now, so the old roll is on display (without addresses). This revision finishes today.

            Issue 428
During Lent
As well as fasting, we keep a good Lent by prayer, study and almsgiving. For PRAYER there will be Stations of the Cross, starting on Monday 19th at 7:30pm at SMM. For STUDY Fr Henry has copies of a booklet recommended by the Archbishop; I hope all those who wanted a copy now have one. For ALMSGIVING we shall have retiring collections for the diocesan homelessness appeal. Please do try to make an effort to try to keep Lent faithfully. Fr Henry is always available if you want advice about how you might keep Lent, or any spiritual questions.

Women’s World Day of Prayer
We are hosting the service for the Women’s World Day on Friday 2nd March, at 1pm at St Peter’s. There will also be an evening service that day at 7:30pm at Fernhead Road Methodist Church. There is a rehearsal for both services at St Peter’s at 1pm THIS FRIDAY. If you are able to come along and help, the organisers would be really pleased to see you.

So if you are a regular member of either congregation and have never filled in the form, take one from the back of the church, fill it in, and return it to Fr Henry.
