IN THE PINK Epiphany 2 2019

        Issue 471
Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
This is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Please pray for the Church’s reunion, and for our neighbours of different denominations. Please pray also for our tenant churches: Morning Star, the Ethiopian Orthodox, Calvary Worship and the Brazilian Pentecostalists. As usual we are getting together with our neighbours to hold a joint service. This year’s service will be at Fernhead Road Methodist Church at 6.30pm today.

Deanery Celebration
Paddington Deanery (all the Anglican churches in Paddington) will be holding a celebratory service for Epiphanytide at which the preacher will be the Bishop of London. This will be held at St James, Sussex Gardens at 5pm on Sunday 27th January. There will be a supper afterwards, and all are welcome. It would help preparations if St James could have an idea of numbers, so could you speak to Fr Henry if you are thinking of going (you will not be committed to anything, and anyone can turn up, it’s just so they have an idea).

PCC Meeting
The regular meeting of St Mary Magdalene’s PCC is on Wednesday 23rd at 7pm at the Vicarage.
